Our gynecologic oncologist are the first clinician in Pakistan; to be certified to perform minimally invasive robotic surgery on gynecologic cancer patients. Today, we are performing robotic surgeries in Pakistan’s leading hospitals.
The robotic platform enables our gynecological oncologists to perform an effective, minimally invasive procedure. Only a few small incisions, rather than large ones, are needed to accommodate tiny robotic instruments and tiny cameras inserted into the patient's abdomen. These are still major surgical procedures, but they are performed through small incisions, reducing blood loss, pain, scarring, and the risk of infection, better removal of disease process compared to traditional techniques.
Robots are changing the way our surgeons treat gynecological conditions. Major surgery is required for most of the 80,000 women diagnosed with reproductive cancers each year.
Furthermore, robotic surgery is a practicable yet less invasive alternative than traditional open surgery. In addition to less blood loss and lower infection rates, smaller incisions and fewer complications associated with robotic surgery increase the likelihood that patients will start chemotherapy or radiation sooner. Our surgeons performed more than 400 procedures related to gynecological cancers, including:
Endometrial or uterine cancer is the most common malignancy in the female reproductive system. In our experience, most of these patients are eligible for robotic surgery. Additionally, every stage of cervical and ovarian cancer patients are eligible for minimally invasive robotic-assisted surgery.
Robotic surgery has many advantages over conventional surgery, such as:
We are experts in using the CRM robot to surgically treat gynecological cancers and conditions, including all stage endometrial, ovarian, and early-stage cervical cancer. Robotic surgery can also be used to stage certain types of cancer and determine the extent of the disease.
CMR robots can be used to perform the following procedures:
Importantly: There are many benefits to robotic surgery, including generally shorter hospital stays, fewer scars, and a faster return to daily activities.
By reviewing the woman's overall health and the extent of her specific condition and disease, robotic surgery was identified as the best treatment option.
However, we offer advanced treatment options for ovarian, cervical, and uterine cancers.
